Kathmandu to Tengboche

Well, I had great plans of updating this blog as often as possible and so far, we have just not had strong enough service to get any posts done. I have been adding photos and comments almost every day on Facebook. If you are interested in seeing what we are doing and where we are along with some commentary, follow me here! I do not know how reliable service will be on the rest of the trek or at base camp, so I hope you will follow our journey here in Nepal at these two places!

I would love to write a long update with lots of thoughts on our journey so far, but I am exhausted (in a good way). We get up early to trek to the next village, Pheriche. We will stay there for two nights and then to Lobuche base camp. I am truly so grateful to be here and experience life and culture in the Khumbu Valley with the incredible Sherpa people. We also have really loved getting to know our fellow climbers, trekkers and guides who are quickly becoming wonderful friends. I hope you will follow me on Facebook and the Climbing the Seven Summits blog to get lots of pictures and updates. I am hoping that I will have better service along the way and in base camp. If I do, I will post better updates with lots of my thoughts, feelings and updates. Thanks to everyone for sending up any prayers, and good thoughts you decide to send our way. Lots of love to all!
